Hot Chicken Salad

This is a favorite from a local tea house. It is very yummy (except for the celery!haha)

3 c. cooked chicken cubed
3 c. chopped celery (i make it big enough so I can pick it out easily!)
3 c. chopped croutons
2 1/2 c. mayo (I never said it was diet friendly!)
1 1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 T dried minced onion
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 c. cheddar cheese cubed

Mix together. Pour into a 13/9 pan and bake at 350* until cheese melts.

i'm gonna go out on a limb here. can i skip the picking-out-of-celery and just not put it in to begin with? the result of *that* sounds *lovely*!
oooh i really want some of this right now.
Holly, let me moderate for AJ since she is at work and I am at home making homebrew. My 3rd batch tooday!
Miss Addies Tea House Rule #37 paragraph B specifically states: If Hot Chicken Salad is made w/out Celery, then the party of the first part shall be in NO way responsible for the resulting blahness of said Hot Chicken Salad.
That pretty much covers it.
Thank yuu.

See...the flavor is the problem. Yucko. I hate haTE HATE celery, but others in my family love love LOVE it, so I try my best to cook with it very occasionally.

PS Uncle Joe paid me $100 to eat a stalk of it once. I won.
